About Tara Krishna
Tara Krishna,PhD is based in Tokyo and her artworks include pencil drawings, watercolor and acrylic paintings. She holds a BSc,MSc,MPhil and doctorate. She has published scholarly articles and research papers in national and international academic peer reviewed/refereed journals. She had interest in drawing and painting since childhood but could not pursue the same due to her busy academic life. Currently she creates artworks whenever possible after her working hours. She is of the view that art has immense power to transcend our current level of consciousness from the regular social set up and engagements to a world of our own re-creation, self expression and happiness ., and art should give a feeling of joy and positive emotion to the viewer. Tara lives with her husband and two children in Tokyo.
