Warbling white – eye (the Japanese white –eye/mejiro ) are seen more in spring in Japan during the cherry blossom season (sakura). These green songbirds flitting from branch to branch and sipping nectar from the fresh blooms are delightful to watch.
Mejiros are native to Japan, but can also be found in Taiwan, China and the Philippines.

Precious darling songbird Tara with such beautiful colors everywhere! Amazing detail especially on those gorgeous cherry blossoms! We just had a minor earthquake here in NJ in the states, I'm a little shaken up, the house shook strongly for a good 20 - 30 seconds! Very strange. Just thought I'd share, the weather and the earth is changing, has changed. Take good care and have a lovely weekend!
